reviewsInvisible Roots: How Healing Past Life Trauma Can Liberate Your Present
Barbara Stone “Invisible Roots: How Healing Past Life Trauma Can Liberate Your Present” opens with a foreword from Bernie Siegel, MD. Dr. Siegel asks the reader to open their minds to the ideas that are about to be revealed in this work. Throughout my reading experience I had to remind myself of this request as the practices, theories and philosophies of this text were completely alien to me. Author Barbara Stone begins by providing several of her client’s stories which document earthbound spirits and examples of past life trauma. These tales are captivating and raw, both fantastical and real. Painful accounts of mental illness are defined in a way I have never considered before. What I would assess to be either psychosis or depressive and manic symptomology are determined to be spirit attachments and energy field imbalances. A new world of thought was opened up to this reader as Stone sets out on her soul detective mission of healing. Stone provides a detailed account of the interventions performed in these case scenarios, i.e.: meridian tapping, muscle testing, NMT, EMDR, and energy centering. These techniques are outlined further later in the book and an appendices section of the text provides detailed tips for the therapist. Stone provides a wealth of information on alternative forms of psychological, spiritual and physiological treatment methods. Stone strives to explain what happens after death by focusing of the truths of her clients rather than empirical truths alone. The client experiences that are weaved throughout this work keep the reader engaged in Stone’s quest to investigate and assist earthbound souls with their journey of crossing over. With a sensitive and caring perspective, Stone ventures into unknown realms while outlining fantastic practices, spiritual beliefs and the therapy of Energy Psychology. Regardless of whether or not you can buy into all the ideas presented, this book is interesting and insightful. I would recommend this book to any reader who is struggling with seemingly irresolvable psychological and physical symptoms and who is open to alternative worldviews on both life and death. If you are able to accept the philosophy, Stone seems to have found answers for the unanswerable.
