When it comes to advice for small business owners, I would have to say that the author, Mathew Dickerson, knows what he is talking about.  At age twelve the author started his first business.  At age twenty-one the author founded AXXIS Technology, an international company winning over twenty major awards.  In his new book, “Small Business Rules," Dickerson has filled it full of great tips for any size business.  The author lists 52 essential rules to help make your small business a success, for example, rule number 1 “Adequate is not Adequate."  This is so true in this day and age when everyone is trying to take your customers or build a better product then you.  You have to be beyond good if you want to keep them.

The book is laid out in short easy to read chapters that get to the point.  Most people in the business world do not have a lot of free time on their hands.  The author, Mathew Dickerson, knows it is better to get your point across in fifty words instead of five hundred.  If you write your story and pad the word count to make more money, you will lose in the end because no one will read a book that takes a week to read one chapter.  The book “Small Business Rules” is an easy read, and by that I mean you don’t get bored reading it.  I found the book kept my attention and was full of useful information.  I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for business advice.  The author has successfully written a book that is of real use to the person just starting out in business or to someone who has been in business many years.
