reviewsThe Problem with Being Perfect
Wayne Chan He starts off with an explanation of Chinese family reunions and the various “rules” that must be followed. This is lighthearted, funny, and very enlightening. I found myself laughing right from the start. I was not aware of this author before I read this book but it what he writes I must assume he has a column in a local San Francisco paper. Many of his stories appear to have been written for his column originally and I’m sure he has entertained his readers for quite a while. His down to earth, everyday person view point is refreshing . There is no pomp or arrogance to his writing and you feel as though you know him. |
