The Entrepreneur

“My idea was simple, elegant and fresh.  Not unlike a Bay oyster.  If tattoos were placed all over the body- even in places that were just wrong- why couldn’t tattoos be inscribed on the inside of the body?  Imagine getting a Mom inked on your real heart, or tattooing a biting joke about physicians on your large colon for doctors to find during your next colonoscopy.  The applications were endless.”  (p.2)  This excerpt is just an inkling of the zaniness of Rick Casteel’s “The Entrepreneur.”

At first when I started reading the book I wasn’t too sure exactly what to think as the book was unlike anything that I had ever read before.  However, as I got into a few pages of the story I found it to be a hilarious read!  The characters are extremely entertaining and the ideas about the different businesses to open are quite creative.  Some parts of the story are laugh out loud funny.  I can vividly picture in my mind the different scenarios that are taking place and trust me, they are quite out of the ordinary.

If you are looking for something that is not the least bit serious, is wacky, and way out there, then “The Entrepreneur” is the book for you.  The one hundred and eight pages just fly by.  It is an incredibly fast read and it is completely doable to finish the book in one sitting.  I look forward to reading more humorous work from author Rick Casteel in the future. He definitely gave me a good laugh with this unique story!
